What is a Trunk Show?
A Trunk Show is a selection of garments from a specific higher-end brand for a specific season. These garments are loaned to a particular store for a limited time only! Only one run of sizes is offered in a Trunk Show, and once they are sold, there is no re-stocking of the product. Often times this merchandise has not yet been released for sale at many stores, so a Trunk Show acts as a preview of these products for a small sector of the public. Urban Leisure & Luxury features a French Connection Trunk Show every year for holiday season.
